Who we are

Penhill Pharmacy is a trading name of Rasu Pharma Ltd (company number 16326302), registered in England & Wales. Our registered office and pharmacy premises are at 257A Penhill Drive, Swindon SN2 5HN. We are a registered pharmacy (GPhC premises number 1038778) and our Superintendent Pharmacist is Rajendiran Duraisamy (GPhC 2221878).

For data protection purposes, Rasu Pharma Ltd is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC086043.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the information we hold about you as a patient or customer of the pharmacy, and information you give us when you contact us through this website, by phone or in person. It does not cover other organisations’ websites that we link to.

Information we collect through this website

This website does not ask you to enter any personal information. There is no contact form, no account to create and no online ordering. If you email or call us using the details on this site, we hold what you choose to tell us.

Our website provider keeps basic technical logs, such as the internet address your visit came from and the time of the request. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Information we hold as a pharmacy

When we dispense your medicines or provide a service such as Pharmacy First, vaccination, blood pressure checks or a private consultation, we keep a clinical record. This typically includes your name, address, date of birth, NHS number where relevant, contact details, the medicines supplied and notes about the care we gave you.

These records are held in our pharmacy systems, not on this website.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Under UK data protection law we rely on the following:

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to, including with your GP practice and other NHS organisations involved in your care, with NHS bodies that pay for and oversee the services we provide, with suppliers of the clinical systems we use, and where the law requires it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep pharmacy records for the periods set out in NHS records management guidance and in pharmacy law. General enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and in some circumstances ask us to delete it or limit how we use it. Some of these rights are limited where we are required by law to keep clinical records. To make a request, speak to the pharmacist or write to us at the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Please don’t email us medical details

Ordinary email is not a secure way to send health information. Please don’t send us symptoms, medicines or medical history by email. Call us or come in, and we will talk it through in private.

Cookie policy

Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device.

This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not measure what you look at, and we do not pass anything to advertising networks.

Our website provider may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working — for example, to protect against automated attacks. These do not identify you and are not used for any other purpose.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop this site working.

To check before publishing: if analytics, a booking widget, an embedded map or a contact form is added later, this policy must be updated and a cookie banner may be required.

Complaints procedure

Last reviewed: 17 October 2026

Tell us first

If something has gone wrong, or you are unhappy with the care or service you received, please speak to the pharmacist in the pharmacy or call us on 01793 723 534. Most things can be sorted out quickly once we know about them.

You can also write to the Superintendent Pharmacist at Penhill Pharmacy, 257A Penhill Drive, Swindon SN2 5HN.

What happens next

We will acknowledge your complaint within three working days. We will look into what happened and give you a full response, normally within 20 working days. If it is going to take longer, we will tell you why and keep you updated.

Our response will explain what we found, what we have done about it, and what we are changing so it does not happen again.

If you are still not satisfied

For NHS services, you can raise your complaint with NHS England, or with NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board, which commissions our services. You can also ask the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman to review an NHS complaint once we have responded.

Our regulator is the General Pharmaceutical Council, which you can contact about concerns relating to the standards of a registered pharmacy or pharmacy professional.

NHS complaints can usually be made up to 12 months after the event, or after you first became aware of it.

Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: 17 October 2026

This website

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification.

We have built it to be read in a logical order, to work at any screen size, to keep text and background colours clearly distinguishable, to show a visible outline on whatever you have selected with the keyboard, and to let you enlarge the text in your browser without the layout breaking. The site uses no automatic movement, flashing or audio.

We have aimed at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We have not had the site independently audited, so there may be problems we have not spotted.

The pharmacy itself

There are no steps into the pharmacy, though the approach to the entrance is a little steep, so please take care. If it is difficult for you, call us on 01793 723 534 and a member of the team will come out and help.

Telling us about a problem

If you find part of this site hard to use, or you need information from it in another format such as large print, please call us on 01793 723 534 and we will get it to you another way.
